Classically-trained pianist Catherine Fearns is known for her unique virtuosic arrangements of metal and rock songs. With a popular Youtube channel that has reached almost a million views, Catherine’s work has been featured in Metal Injection, Ultimate Guitar, Metal Hammer, Louder Sound, and Metalzone magazines. Her live metal shows are fun, sexy and interactive, and she has a huge repertoire of material ranging from extreme metal to hard rock classics.
As a classical composer, she has released three albums on Blue Spiral Records, with accompanying sheet music published by the prestigious Universal Edition.
Catherine performs regularly in concerts and festivals both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists. Her recent solo shows include Dark Earth Records, Fete de la Musique Geneva, Fete de la Musique Lausanne, Urgence Disk, Festiverbant and others. She is also keyboardist/guitarist for acclaimed all-female heavy metal band Chaos Rising.
